Communication Then vs Now

Ways to Communicate

People in the past rely on radio, telephone and telegraphs to receive information and to get in touch with others. The main ways for people who stayed apart with a long geographical distance, such as in two countries, to communicate are via hand written letter that are delivered by post office or through the use of International Direct Dialling (IDD) which is however quite expensive.

In the present days, it is not that hard for people to keep in touch in spite of the geographical location and time. Lots of social media and online platforms are developed for the global world to connect together.

Social media examples:

   Facebook
   Whatsapp
   Instagram
   Skype
   Snapchat
   Twitter
   E-mail

Yet, the excessive use of social media such as e-mail seems to be less
interesting than the time you were new to e-mail. Think deeply, that reflects the
fact that social media is no longer just an entertaining platform, but has become
a part of our living - become the basic element of our life.
Does that sound good or terrifying?
